Sleep Cycle (10th Anniversary Edition) — Deakin Reissue
Deakin‘s debut solo album Sleep Cycle is back in a 10th Anniversary Edition from Domino, pressed on limited edition purple vinyl. Originally released in 2016 by the Animal Collective member, the record built around themes of fear and self-doubt in a way that sat deliberately apart from what AC were doing at the time — slower, more meditative, less concerned with momentum.
It found a devoted audience on first release and has been hard to track down at a sensible price since. This anniversary pressing is the cleanest way in for anyone who missed it the first time, and the purple vinyl makes it a worthwhile double dip for existing fans too.
