The South Facade — Ugly Debut Album Preorder
Cambridge art-rock sextet Ugly are releasing their debut album The South Facade on 23rd October, and the Dinked Edition is the one that needs your attention first. Edition 435 in the Dinked series, it comes on clear glass with cyan accent vinyl, includes a postcard, a stems download, and a 10×10 inch screen-printed art print, all capped at 400 copies. It was a Norman bestseller in the week it was announced, which tells you where demand is sitting.
Ugly have been building a following through the Windmill Scene and the debut reflects the range of a band who have spent serious time working out what they actually sound like. The standard LP is also available if the Dinked extras are not what you are after, but at 400 copies the limited edition will be gone before the record comes out. Norman Records have both versions up now.
