Settle Down City Anniversary Edition — Young Widows on Yellow Vinyl
Twenty years after Young Widows released their debut, Temporary Residence Ltd. are marking the occasion with a remastered anniversary edition of Settle Down City. The remaster was handled by James Plotkin, and alongside it comes a previously unreleased track called “White Water,” recorded during the original sessions but never put out until now.
The pressing is opaque yellow vinyl, and it is the only vinyl edition available for this release. Temporary Residence have set a limit of two per customer, which tells you something about how quickly this is expected to move.
Young Widows remain one of the more underappreciated bands to come out of Louisville, and this record is where it started. If you have never heard it, this is the edition to start with. If you already know it, the Plotkin remaster and the bonus track are reason enough to pick this up. It is due 6th November 2026.
