Another Day On Earth — Brian Eno Gets First International Vinyl Pressing
Brian Eno‘s 2005 album Another Day On Earth has been unavailable outside Japan on vinyl for close to two decades. That changes on 16th October 2026, when his revived Opal label puts out the first international pressing. It is available as a standard LP or as a Dinked Edition LP, so there are two routes in depending on how you prefer to buy.
The record marked Eno’s return to songs and lead vocal writing, territory he had largely stepped away from since Nerve Net in 1992. It sits in an interesting space between his ambient catalogue and the art-pop records he made in the 1970s, which makes it unlike most things in his discography and worth knowing if you have somehow missed it.
For collectors outside Japan this is a long time coming, and the Opal label revival feels like the right home for it. The Dinked Edition is the one to go for if you want something a little more distinct. Preorder is open now at Piccadilly Records ahead of the October release date.
