The Second Wave by Khoma — First Time on Vinyl, 2LP Reissue
Khoma‘s The Second Wave is one of those records that has been discussed and recommended for two decades without ever having a proper vinyl edition to point people toward. That changes now. Red Creek have put out a 2LP pressing on transparent yellow with marbled black vinyl, housed in a trifold sleeve and limited to 500 copies, arriving twenty years after the album’s original release.
The Umeå collective made this record as they moved from DIY underground to Roadrunner Records, and it still holds up. It sits in a space that was hard to categorise at the time and remains genuinely its own thing.
The pressing comes with a 20 page booklet and was released on 7th July 2026. Copies are still available via Bandcamp. If you have been waiting for a legitimate way to own this on vinyl, this is it and the edition is small enough that waiting longer is a risk.
