Love 2 — Air Reissue on Limited Clear 2LP
Air‘s Love 2 is getting its first vinyl pressing in over 15 years, this time on limited 140g clear 2LP with a gatefold sleeve, via the band’s own Aircheology label. Written and produced entirely by the duo at their own Atlas studio in Paris, it is the record where they leaned back into their signature atmospheric drift after a period of stylistic detours. Four sides of that particular Air quality — unhurried, warm and somewhat weightless.
The fact that it has been out of print on vinyl for this long makes it worth noting when it comes back around in a proper edition like this one. Clear wax, 140g, gatefold, limited — it is the right way to do a reissue. Out 16th October. Resident Music have it up now.
