Black Market Gardening — Fila Brazillia 30th Anniversary Yellow Vinyl Reissue
Fila Brazillia’s third album Black Market Gardening is widely considered the creative peak of the Hull duo Steve Cobby and David McSherry, and for its 30th anniversary Music On Vinyl have pressed it onto yellow vinyl in a run of just 250 individually numbered copies. Nine tracks moving between trip hop, cosmic synths, breakbeats and moments that edge into drum and bass territory — it’s a record that holds up well despite the weight of the era around it.
250 copies is a small number for something with this kind of reputation. These anniversary pressings on numbered coloured vinyl tend to sell through without a lot of fuss, and there’s no indication of a wider repress to follow. If you’ve been meaning to pick this one up, now is a more practical moment than later.

Out 16th October 2026. Available now from Music On Vinyl.
