Whirr & Luster SplitWhirr & Luster Free Whirl Records — 18th September 2026 — 12″ EP, Clear & Red Marble, numbered /500 (Funeral Party exclusive) Whirr’s first new material in years paired with two tracks from Luster, the most compelling new voice in American shoegaze right now. Nick Bassett produced Luster’s previous output and that connection runs through everything here: glider guitar, buried vocals, volume as the primary emotional register. Four songs, two coasts, two generations of the genre in genuine conversation. The Funeral Party exclusive is on clear and red marble vinyl, numbered to 500. |

In the Shadow of Your ShadowCult of Luna 6th November 2026 — 2LP, gatefold with 12 page booklet, five colour variants available A seventy one minute monolith and possibly the darkest record the Swedish group have put their name to, twenty five years into a career built on refusing to repeat itself. Guest vocals from Joe Duplantier and David Eugene Edwards sit inside a set of songs shaped by recent loss. Five vinyl variants are available, all limited. |

Dopamine ChamberFontaines D.C. XL Recordings — 16th October 2026 — LP / Coloured LP / Indies Exclusive Blue Marble Coloured LP Their fifth album and their most radical pivot yet, with cold synth tones, marching drums, several songs with no guitars at all, and 1960s Italian pop strings pulled into something synthetic. Produced by James Ford, recorded partly in Palermo. The indies exclusive is on blue marble vinyl. If Romance felt like a band testing limits, this sounds like a band burning the map. |

The Body, The Blood, The Machine (20th Anniversary Edition)The Thermals Sub Pop — Ships from 18th September 2026 — Opaque Red LP Twenty years on, the Portland trio’s third album still sounds like their widest and wildest swing, adding walls of guitar and organ to their scrappy post pop punk roots without losing the grit. When You Smiled And Turned AwayThe Cat’s Miaow Slumberland / Lost & Lonesome — LP Remarkably this is the debut studio album from a band whose 1990s tapes and 7″s have been spoken about in hushed tones in indiepop circles for thirty years. Two well received World of Echo compilations prompted a reunion, and the result is some of their finest recordings yet, gentle, unfussy and quietly mastered. A limited print is available with direct orders. |

A Certain Smile, A Certain Sadness (30th Anniversary Edition)Rocketship Slumberland — LP, White/Bone Swirl vinyl Rocketship’s 1996 debut spiked indiepop with buzzing organs, spacey interludes and motorik repetition in a way that sat them next to Stereolab and Unrest but sounded like nothing else. Thirty years on it still sounds singular. Lovingly remastered and pressed on white and bone swirl vinyl. The LP is already sold out at retail but Slumberland still have direct copies. |
