Ex:Re returns with Save As, Elena Tonra's second album under that name. Out 30 October 2026 on 4AD — indies exclusive crystal clear vinyl with lyric booklet.
Elena Tonra’s first record under the Ex:Re name was one of the more quietly devastating things released in 2018. Eight years on, she returns with Save As, her second album under that project, and it sounds like it comes from the same place of deep, careful feeling. The record was produced by Fabian Prynn and features contributions from Josephine Stephenson on cello, Hinako Omori on synthesisers and Jethro Fox on electric guitar.
The indies exclusive pressing is the one to go for. It is on crystal clear vinyl and comes with a lyric booklet, out via 4AD on 30th October 2026.
If the first Ex:Re record meant anything to you, this one is an easy pre-order. The crystal clear pressing is an indie exclusive, so it will not be turning up everywhere, and the lyric booklet is a welcome addition to what is always a very text-centred project. Piccadilly Records have it available to order now.
