SWANS announce Newly Sentient Being, a new multimedia live album on Mute. The LP is available to pre-order now through Norman Records.
SWANS have a new live album coming. Newly Sentient Being is described as a multimedia live album, out on Mute, and it is available to pre-order now through Norman Records. For a band whose live performances have been talked about in those particular terms, the kind that suggest the room itself changes during a set, a vinyl document of that is a significant release.
Details on the specific pressing and release date aren’t confirmed in this announcement, but Norman Records have the LP up and available to order. Given the scale of what SWANS do live and the weight that Mute tends to put behind their releases, this is one to move on rather than wait to see how the reviews land. The pre-order is live now.
