Public Service Broadcasting's The Race For Space gets a 10+1 edition with a mustard 7" featuring two tracks new to vinyl. Out 23 October 2026 via Test Card Records from Sister Ray.
Public Service Broadcasting’s The Race For Space has been one of the more celebrated British albums of the past decade, and this 10+1 edition gives it a package worthy of that reputation. The LP pairs the original album with a mustard vinyl 7″ carrying two tracks — Korolev and We’re Going to Climb It — that have never appeared on vinyl before.
The album itself was built from archive footage and spoken word samples, recorded at The Pool Studios and Abbey Road, and tells the story of the space race in a way that still holds up as one of the most conceptually coherent records Test Card Records has put out. Timed to coincide with the band’s sold out Alexandra Palace show, this edition is due 23 October 2026.
Sister Ray have it available to order now. The mustard 7″ with two previously vinyl-only tracks is a genuine addition rather than filler, and it makes this the definitive version of the record to own.
