Slowcore vinyl
Slowcore slows indie rock right down: sparse arrangements, quiet dynamics, songs that take their time. Low, Codeine, Red House Painters and Bedhead shaped it in the early 1990s, and labels like kranky and Numero Group have kept those records in circulation.
Many original slowcore pressings were small, so reissues and represses are often the only realistic way to own these records at retail price. Here's every slowcore record we've covered, with what's on pre-order, what's in stock and where to buy it.
