Aphex Twin: Drukqs 2026 Reissue on 4xLP
Drukqs is finally back on vinyl. Twenty-five years after it first appeared, Richard D. James’s most sprawling and unpredictable record gets its 2026 reissue pressing on 4xLP via Warp. It is the piece that completes the full Aphex Twin catalog in vinyl reissue form, which for a lot of collectors is a genuinely significant moment.
The album itself has always been a difficult one to categorise, which is part of what makes it so enduring. Prepared piano compositions sit directly alongside pulverising drill and bass tracks, and the whole thing resists any attempt to reduce it to a single mood or method. It demands the physical format.
