Sweet Trip's Velocity Design Comfort gets a proper reissue on Sonic Rainboom colored 2LP via Darla Records. Out 16 October 2026, available now from Turntable Lab.
Sweet Trip’s Velocity Design Comfort has spent years as one of those records people press on friends in hushed tones, a quietly beloved experimental dreampop album that marked a genuine shift in the duo’s sound away from their glitchier earlier work. It has never been easy to own on vinyl, which makes this reissue from Darla Records the most straightforward case for picking it up properly.
The format here is a Sonic Rainboom colored vinyl 2LP, out 16 October 2026, and it suits the material well. The album has always rewarded close listening, with more textural detail than the surface prettiness might initially suggest, and a double LP pressing gives it the room it deserves.
Turntable Lab have stock. If this has been on your list for a while, this is the edition to go for.
