DIIV's new album ZIRP! is available to pre-order now on Rough Trade exclusive opaque white vinyl. Their most accessible record yet, by their own description.
DIIV have described ZIRP! as their pop record, their accessible mainstream alternative rock record. Whether that is a genuine creative statement or a piece of self aware misdirection is not entirely clear, but after the density of Deceiver, the prospect of something more immediate from them is genuinely interesting.
The Rough Trade exclusive comes on opaque white vinyl, which is the version worth going for. No release date is listed in the current details, but it is available to pre-order now. DIIV records on coloured vinyl sell through quickly, so if you want this one, getting the pre-order in is the sensible move.
