Radiohead: In Rainbows Rough Trade 50th Anniversary Edition
Rough Trade’s 50th anniversary series continues, and the Radiohead entry is the one that stands out. In Rainbows is pressed on 180g EcoSonic clear recyclable vinyl and limited to 5,000 copies, which makes it the largest run in the series but still not something to sit on.
The record itself needs little introduction. It was the point at which Radiohead pulled back toward melody and warmth after the more fractured abstraction of the records that came before it, and it remains one of the most cohesive things they made in that decade.
Rough Trade require you to sign in to purchase, which is their approach to keeping resellers at bay across the whole anniversary run. Worth creating an account if you have not already. At 5,000 copies this will move, and the clear vinyl pressing looks the part.
