About this record
MONO’s first album since the death of Steve Albini, recorded at his Electrical Audio studios with producer Brad Wood stepping in. A 10-piece orchestra and 8-piece choir appear across eight pieces. Where grief could have produced something laboured, this one reportedly feels like gratitude, an album that turns loss into forward motion. One of the most emotionally significant post-rock releases in a while.

Hold off on overpriced reseller listings and keep an eye on Temporary Residence Ltd.'s store, where stock often comes back first, without the markup.
