East and West + Singles & Demos vinyl: release date, formats & where to buy

Anna Domino recorded this 1984 mini-album in downtown New York while sharing a neighbourhood with Brian Eno, Talking Heads and Laurie Anderson. Pitchfork called it “The Velvet Underground & Nico of avant-pop,” which tells you broadly what you’re in for. This Domino Mart reissue bundles the original with key singles and seven previously unreleased demos digitised from the original 4-track tapes — including early versions of most of the album and one completely new track. A genuinely rare document of her creative process, and the only way to get the demo material is through this vinyl edition.
