Temporal Lapse, the new full length from The Samuel Jackson Five, is out now on orange vinyl via Karisma Records. Order direct from Bandcamp.
The Samuel Jackson Five have a new full length out and it is available on orange vinyl through Karisma Records. Temporal Lapse came out on 30 October 2026, and if you have not yet crossed paths with this Norwegian quintet, they have been making instrumental post-rock for well over a decade with a consistent critical track record behind them.
They sit in that space where the music is technically accomplished without ever feeling like it is showing off, which is a harder balance to strike than it sounds. They are not exactly household names, but among people who follow instrumental guitar music closely they tend to be considered essential listening.
The orange vinyl pressing gives the release some visual character to go with the music. Orders go through the band’s Bandcamp page, which is the most direct way to support them. If post-rock is your thing and you have been sleeping on this band, Temporal Lapse is a reasonable place to correct that.
