Bilal Nasser's Every Martyr Is A Universe is out 6 Nov 2026 on Constellation. A nine-person ensemble record on 180g vinyl. Pre-order now, ships early.
Bilal Nasser‘s third album is his first for Constellation, and it arrives on 6th November 2026 pressed on 180g vinyl. Nasser, a Palestinian-Canadian guitarist and harm-reduction worker, conceived the record during the 2024 student encampment movement, and the result is a nine-person ensemble piece that draws on strings, horns, piano, electronics, percussion, bass and voice.
The album moves between large-scale group works and more intimate song structures, and incorporates archival Palestinian recordings alongside Zionist military broadcasts. That tension is built into the fabric of the record rather than gestured at from a distance.
Pre-orders ship ahead of the release date from Montreal. Constellation handle their own direct orders well, and for a record this considered in its physical presentation, ordering direct makes sense. This is one of the more significant releases on the label in some time.
