Funus' Dreamless Water is back in stock via Tone Def Records on heavyweight black-blue marble vinyl. US buyers can now skip the import costs entirely.
Dutch heavy shoegaze outfit Funus have their debut LP Dreamless Water back in stock, this time through Chicago’s Tone Def Records, who have picked up Noon Records’ 12″ catalogue for North American distribution. If you’ve been putting off the import order, that reason is now gone.
The pressing itself is worth talking about. This is a heavyweight black-blue transparent marble vinyl with 4-colour centre labels — not a throwaway repressing, but a version that clearly had some care put into it. Noon Records do not cut corners on physical product and that shows here.
Funus sit in that particular corner where post metal and shoegaze share a wall — dense, textured, and heavy without losing atmosphere. If you are based in the US and have been watching import costs climb, this is exactly the kind of domestic stocking that makes a difference. Limited edition coloured vinyl of this weight and quality does not hang around long once word gets out.
