About V2
V2 Records was founded by Richard Branson in 1996, after he sold Virgin Records. It released records by Stereophonics, Moby and The White Stripes in some territories, and is now part of Universal Music Group.
We list 5 V2 vinyl releases by Mercury Rev and Idlewild. Most of them are shoegaze, dream pop and indie records. V2 records have featured in one issue of the Surface Noise Weekly.
