The Gorillaz debut is back on vinyl, this time as a hand pressed camouflage 2LP in green, brown and black. The record turns 25 in 2026, and it still sounds like something that took a moment or two for the rest of music to catch up with. Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett’s virtual band concept was genuinely unusual at the time, and this was the record that made it impossible to dismiss as a gimmick.
Clint Eastwood, 19-2000 and Tomorrow Comes Today are all here, which is a run of singles that would make most artists’ entire careers. The camouflage pressing is the visual edition worth having, and this is the one from Resident Music with a December 2026 release date.
It is on PLG UK Frontline and Parlophone, out 4th December 2026. Resident Music have the preorder available, and the hand pressed camouflage format makes this a more interesting shelf object than most reissues of a record this well-known.
