Athens progressive post-metal outfit Playgrounded return with their third album A Flower To Water, out 18th September 2026 on Pelagic Records. The record was mixed by C. Cederberg, known for his work with Leprous and Anathema, and mastered by George Tanderø, who has credits with Madrugada and Satyricon among others. The production pedigree is strong, and the gatefold presentation reflects the ambition of the record itself.
The vinyl choices here are genuinely varied. Five different editions are available including a green Counting Embers pressing, a splatter subscriber exclusive and a standard black LP, all in limited runs. If you are into bands like Karnivool, Vola or Skyharbor this sits squarely in that territory, and the smaller edition runs will vanish before the larger ones.
Pelagic Records are handling the preorder direct from their own store. Given the number of limited pressings involved and the September release date, getting your colour choice locked in sooner rather than later is the sensible approach. The gatefold LP format is standard across editions.
