Bon Iver's 22, A Million gets a 10th anniversary Frosted Silver LP on Jagjaguwar, with updated booklets and an Eric Timothy Carlson essay. Out 20 November 2026.
Ten years on from one of the more genuinely odd mainstream records of the 2010s, Jagjaguwar have put together a proper anniversary edition of 22, A Million. The preorder is live now at Sister Ray, with the Frosted Silver LP shipping November 20.
The presentation has been thought through carefully. The original 28-page lyric booklet has been redone in three silver inks, and the new artwork arrives with a soft touch finish and spot UV gloss. There is also a new 12-page booklet featuring previously unseen artwork and an essay from Eric Timothy Carlson, the artist whose visual work has been inseparable from this record since it was released.
If you already have the original and it is in good shape, the question is whether the updated presentation and the Carlson essay are enough to double up. If your copy has seen ten years of heavy use, this is an easy decision. The Frosted Silver LP is a single edition with no standard black alternative listed, so this is the one.
