GIFT announce Frenzy for the Thrill on Captured Tracks, out 15 January 2027. Pre-order the radioactive yellow and black vinyl edition now from the Captured Tracks store.
GIFT‘s new record Frenzy for the Thrill arrives on Captured Tracks on 15th January 2027, and it sounds like the band made some deliberate choices about where they wanted to take things. TJ Freda and the rest of the group brought in electronic producer Teddy Mars to shape the record around the momentum and physicality of dance music, without abandoning the guitar textures and synthesiser work that have always been central to what they do.
The result is described as their most immediately physical record to date, still melodic and still carrying that wide-angle quality in the songwriting, but with noticeably more drive behind it. That shift in approach feels well-suited to a coloured vinyl pressing, and the radioactive yellow and black edition is the one worth ordering.
Captured Tracks are taking pre-orders now through their own store. January 2027 is the date, but the coloured pressing is worth reserving early if you want this specific edition.
