What should I do if When You Smiled And Turned Away is out of stock or only available at high prices?

Check back with Slumberland / Lost & Lonesome directly rather than buying from a reseller at a markup. Labels often repress when stock runs low, and paying inflated second-hand prices only rewards resellers, not the artist.

About this record

Remarkably this is the debut studio album from a band whose 1990s tapes and 7″s have been spoken about in hushed tones in indiepop circles for thirty years. Two well received World of Echo compilations prompted a reunion, and the result is some of their finest recordings yet, gentle, unfussy and quietly mastered. A limited print is available with direct orders.
