About this record

Their fifth album and their most radical pivot yet, with cold synth tones, marching drums, several songs with no guitars at all, and 1960s Italian pop strings pulled into something synthetic. Produced by James Ford, recorded partly in Palermo. The indies exclusive is on blue marble vinyl. If Romance felt like a band testing limits, this sounds like a band burning the map.

The most direct route is XL Recordings' own store, which puts the money in Fontaines D.C. and the label's hands instead of a reseller's.
