All Set The Bone — Greg Freeman’s New Album, Dinked Edition Preorder
Greg Freeman’s third album is up for preorder and the Dinked Edition is the one that makes the most sense to act on quickly. All Set The Bone was recorded with John Congleton in Hollywood, and by the sound of it the sessions were fast and fairly unguarded, the kind of conditions that tend to produce records that feel genuinely alive rather than assembled.
Freeman’s previous record earned a Pitchfork Best New Album and landed in the New York Times year-end lists. This one sounds like it moves in a less predictable direction: there are guitar-heavy moments sitting alongside psych-rock passages, near-baroque piano, and enough harmonic movement to keep you paying attention. It’s a broader and apparently more friction-heavy record than what came before.
The Dinked Edition is a 2xLP pressed on 140g Dusk coloured vinyl, limited to 500 copies, with a signed 12×12 inch insert and a hand-numbered belly band in a gatefold sleeve. Out 2nd October 2026 on Transgressive. Standard 2xLP and 2xColoured LP editions are also available from Piccadilly Records.
