About Bella Union
Bella Union was founded in 1997 by Simon Raymonde and Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins, and is now run by Raymonde. Its artists have included Fleet Foxes, Beach House, Father John Misty, John Grant, Lift to Experience and Explosions in the Sky.
The label releases most of its albums on vinyl, with indie-shop colour editions.
We list 13 Bella Union vinyl releases, from artists including Explosions in the Sky, Mercury Rev and Wild Nothing. Most of them are dream pop, shoegaze and post-rock records. The release dates run from 2003 to 2016. One is a reissue: Veronica Falls (15th Anniversary Reissue) by Veronica Falls. Bella Union records have featured in one issue of the Surface Noise Weekly.
