About this record
Recorded live in LA over Valentine’s Day weekend 2025, right after the fires, this pulls songs from The Purple Bird alongside deep cuts from the wider Bonnie “Prince” Billy songbook. The backing band is stacked, Emmett Kelly, Ryder McNair, Patrick Shiroishi and others among them, and Dave Ferguson, who produced The Purple Bird, steps up to sing on “Downstream.” Closes with a live “I See a Darkness,” which feels like the point of the whole thing.
FAQs about this record
The most direct route is Domino's own store, which puts the money in Bonnie “Prince” Billy and the label's hands instead of a reseller's.
Nothing confirmed from Domino right now. If that changes, it'll be in the weekly email.
Hold off on overpriced reseller listings and keep an eye on Domino's store, where stock often comes back first, without the markup.
