Collector notes
Nine songs mapping different registers of love, from the lurching centrepiece "Insignificant Other" to the mono-to-stereo swerve of "Mono." Produced by Homme and Michael Shuman, it is moody, menacing, tender and strange in roughly equal measure. The deluxe edition is exclusive to the QOTSA and Matador webstores and is the one with the most to it. The clear indie exclusive will move fast at retail.
You can buy it directly through Matador's own store — that keeps the money with the artist and label, not a middleman.
No confirmed plans from Matador yet. Sign up for restock alerts to be notified the moment that changes.
Avoid paying reseller markups — check back with Matador directly instead, since that's where genuine restocks and repressings show up first.
