Dry Cleaning’s expanded Secret Love gets the Dinked International treatment, Talk Talk’s The Colour of Spring lands a 40th anniversary half-speed master, and chest. arrive from Paris with one of the more interesting noise rock debuts to cross our radar this week. Interpol, Can, Panda Bear & Sonic Boom, Yard Act and Windy & Carl also feature, a genuinely varied week across new releases, preorders and reissues worth acting on before resellers do.

Secret Love (Deluxe Edition) Dry Cleaning 4AD — 16th October 2026 — 2xLP (Dinked International Edition) Three previously unreleased tracks from the Cate Le Bon sessions are added here, ‘Grass’, ‘I Have The Key’ and the recently released ‘Sliced by a Fingernail’, alongside alternate Erica Eyres artwork. The original album already sits near the top of year-end lists. These outtakes, particularly ‘I Have The Key’ which features a saxophone improvisation from Bruce Lamont, feel like proper additions rather than filler. The Colour of Spring (40th Anniversary Half-Speed Master) Talk Talk Parlophone — LP (40th Anniversary Half-Speed Master) The album where Talk Talk started becoming something else entirely, before Spirit of Eden, before Laughing Stock, this was the pivot. A half-speed master of this particular record is a genuinely worthwhile proposition: the space and detail in Mark Hollis’s arrangements rewards the format. Forty years on and it still sounds like nothing else made in 1986. The kind of reissue that justifies owning a good turntable. Buy from Norman Records →

This Mirror Weighs A Ton Interpol Partisan Records — 28th August 2026 — 2xLP / 2xLP (Indies Exclusive) / 2xLP (Signed Indies Exclusive) Interpol weave synths, strings, acoustic guitars and layered percussion into their brooding post-punk framework without reinventing themselves. That restraint is the point, this is refinement rather than reinvention, and the signed indies exclusive copies at Piccadilly are worth moving on quickly. The brooding atmospheric quality that made Turn on the Bright Lights essential is still very much present. Buy from Partisan Records →

Live In Arles 1975 Can Mute — 25th September 2026 — LP Widely regarded as one of Can’s finest ever performances, this concert at the Roman Théâtre Antique in Arles featured the core four of Schmidt, Karoli, Liebezeit and Czukay, and took place as part of a festival that also included Nico and Kevin Ayers. The band themselves reportedly consider it among their best. On vinyl for the first time, this is not a completist footnote, it’s a document worth owning. Buy from Mute Records →

Happy, Broken. chest. EXAG Records / Howlin Banana Records — 16th October 2026 — LP (Dinked Edition: green & red splatter on natural vinyl, hand-numbered & signed postcard, pack of 5 stickers, limited pressing of 300) Five-piece from Paris who recorded at Studio La Frette (Nick Cave, Arctic Monkeys) and absorbed noise rock, industrial, techno and shoegaze into something genuinely their own. NME had them as one of 100 artists to watch in 2025 before they’d released a record, that’s usually a red flag, but the debut EP backed it up. The Dinked Edition is limited to 300 copies and is the obvious way to get this one. Buy from Piccadilly Records →

Windy & Carl Meet Optigan Conservatory Windy & Carl with Optigan Conservatory Kranky — LP Michigan drone ambient duo Windy & Carl in collaboration with fellow Michigan duo Optigan Conservatory, on Kranky. If you know Windy & Carl’s back catalogue you know what the sonic territory looks like, submerged guitar drones, glacial pacing, long slow build. Adding the Optigan Conservatory’s optical organ textures to the mix gives this one a stranger, more dislocated feel than usual. Worth your time. Buy from Norman Records →
